Celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Together-Ensemble Foundation

Hello everyone, The month of June was marked by the visit of Senator Samantha Cazebonne who came to celebrate with us the 30th anniversary of the Together-Ensemble (T-E) Foundation as part of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and the Philippines sumptuously organized at the museum. Pinto. Samantha was able to meet many French people, and go to the Lycée français de Manila, and to the Alliance française. We found the time to discover Puerto Galera (Mindoro) and the small market run by the Mangyan tribe. The 30th anniversary of T-E brought together 250 guests at Las Piñas Parañaque Wetland Park, including many French and Filipino personalities, as well as partners who have joined the Foundation to engage in actions affecting the environment. Senator Cynthia Villa entrusted us with one hectare, within the 180 protected and classified hectares, to create the Friendship Park between the Philippines and France. Just 20 minutes from Makati, the Philippine France Friendship Park will be able to welcome our partner companies, and a wider public to raise awareness among as many people as possible of the challenge facing us to defend our planet. I ended my speech with the following words: "When will we understand that the Earth does not belong to the humans, it is the humans who belong to the Earth". The partner companies that will all have a tree (Talisay) planted on the edge of Manila Bay are Egis, BTicino-Legrand, Colas Rail, the French Embassy in the Philippines, Mercedes Zobel, L'Oréal Philippines, Alain Dick... an amphitheater will make it possible to project videos and films and hold conferences. During November we will invite the students of the Lycée Français de Manila for an orientation visit. A magnificent sculpture designed and created by the young and talented Filipino artist Raphael David welcomes us at the entrance to Bambusetum Park. Many media covered the event.
